Homework Assignment 6 - Assembly Drawings
Due 9:30 am, Tuesday, October 15, 1996

Statement: A complete assembly drawing is a drawing of the product put together,
showing all parts in their operational positions. The importance of having an assembly
drawing can never be overemphasized. The finished separate pieces come to the assembly
department to be put together according to the assembly drawings. Sometimes, it is
desirable or necessary to perform some small machining operation during assembly, often
drilling, reaming, or hand finishing.

Assignments: Given an assembly drawing of belt drive. Make an engineering drawing for
each of the components of the belt drive, except for standardized parts. A list is needed to
ensure that all standardized parts are included. Using Pro/ENGINEER to complete this
assignment. Dimensions and tolerances are needed based on your judgment.
