• The 3com 3C905-tx card needs module 3c59x to be loaded
• I stuck it into /etc/modules
• In /etc/network/interfaces added iface for eth0
• Man lies about the needed format
• Of course /etc/resolv.conf needs to be setup too
• ATI Rage II+DVD 4MB
• Old mouse uses PS/2 /dev/psaux
• Wheel mouse uses Microsoft /dev/mouse
• Gateway EV700 Horz 30-69 Vert 50-120
• "1280x1024" 110 1280 1328 1512 1712 1024 1025 1028 1054
• 8 bit depth (for now) on Mach64 server
• remember to document /etc/inittab change
• use module /lib/modules/scsi/imm.o for zip plus on parallel port
