Action Research in Education
In addition to content on how drawings can be used as a source of data, DrawnToScience.org also provides information on using the methodology for action research in education. Drawings, when used in conjunction with other forms of data (e.g. interviews, surveys, classroom observations, etc.) can yield information that can help teachers study their own practice. By gaining a deeper understanding of their students’ ideas about teaching and learning, teachers will be able to make instruction more relevant and targeted.
