Hello! I am Tyler Ferrese, a freshman at the University of Maryland. I am enrolled in the A. James Clark School of Engineering as a mechanical engineering major. I am also a member of the Science and Global Change Scholar's Program. My time at UMD has been fantastic so far. My professors are all kind and experts in their fields, and the facilities facilitate a comfortable environment where I am able to focus all of my energy into bettering myself and the community. Over the next few semesters, I want to become involved with environmental groups on campus as well as gain an internship aligned with mechanical engineering.
