Jane Goodall speaking at the Inspiring Hope Through Action lecture.
The main concept of the talk was to discuss how taking action to better our world can inspire hope for both yourself and others. Dr. Jane Goodall was the main speaker as she began with how her childhood and mother nurtured her curiosity for nature. She talked about how living through World War II taught her the strength and value of everything. Next, she described how she ended up doing research in Africa. After she described her journey to start her research, she continued to describe her research experience and many of the projects she has worked on throughout her life. Currently, she mainly works on charity work for her charity the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI).
