Hi, my name is Raymond. I recently graduated from Atholton High School and I am looking forward to my next four years here at University of Maryland. Currently, I am majoring in computer science. I first became interested in computer science after taking AP Computer Science Principles in my freshman year. I became interested and took several java classes the following years. With regards to SGC, I am looking forward to the field trips that this program has to offer, even though there won't be any this semester. I also look forward to making new friends with our scholars group/other people and reuniting with some of my high school friends. During my time here at UMD, I hope to enhance my interests and knowledge in computer science and explore the vast amount of general education classes that I may be interested in. I am thrilled to experience this new chapter of my life.
