Hi! My name is Riya and I'm a freshman computer science major and astronomy minor at the University of Maryland, College Park. I'm part of the science and global change scholars program, an organization called "Girls Who Code", and the Break Through Tech program here at UMD. In the future, I hope to use my skills in technology to improve our understanding of space and the world we live in, as well as improve our current technology to further add to our knowledge. In my free time, I like painting, going on walks, reading, and stargazing.
