I have an MLS from the University of Maryland and a bachelor’s in English from Northwestern University. Prior to entering the graduate program at the iSchool, I was a high school English teacher and webmaster. My research interests include the information behaviors associated with mentoring, e-literature, and information literacy. I hold a graduate assistantship with the Office of Faculty Affairs, where I code various web applications and serve as the webmaster. When not engaged with my studies or the duties associated with my graduate assistantship, I am an amateur photographer who focuses on flowers and family portraits. I also enjoy hiking with my husband, cooking, singing, and needlework.
