She wondered whether the new guy was the reason she was having doubts about her relationship with Deniz. Or perhaps it was the fact that he presented her with an opportunity to experience someone new. Either way, it was a strong indication of something that she was avoiding to think about: the fact that love was gone and routine of life was taking its toll on their relationship.

Yet all the memories she has built with Deniz floated at the surface of her consciousness and made her smile from time to time. The happiness, though, dispersed as soon as other memories clouded her mind: the misunderstandings, screaming matches, hysterics, door-slamming.
