She left and the flat seemed quiet and lonely once again. When he invited her to his house last night, he didn't know she had a boyfriend. In fact, he still had some doubts about whom she was meeting. "Darling," she called him... maybe it was even a woman she was talking to. Her mother, her sister, her best friend? He had to lock the door, but her scent on the pillow wouldn't stay there for long. He wanted to revel in it as long as he could. They did a lot of talking last night, he realised. She told him a lot of personal things, yet she forgot to mention a simple fact that she had a boyfriend. But it was alright. It didn't bother him too much. He looked over to the bedside table to look at the time, but something caught his attention. It was a necklace in the shape of half a heart. No doubt she had left it. He caught himself feeling slightly excited at the fact that they would meet again, for she would most certainly want it back.
