Say it ain't so Joe, say it ain't so. I love politics as much as the next man, or woman, I don't need to have every current event in American culture politicized; though. As a native Red Sox fan I took to the Baltimore Orioles easily when I moved down here and have considered Rafael Palmeiro one of the good guys - a fan you could be an unabashed fan of. It's bad enough that I have to retreat to a native Ring Lardner cynicism to contend with this story. Now Congress feels it has to jump in Congress to Investigate Whether Palmeiro Committed Perjury at Hearing and there is a story in Alternet too on this Raphael Palmeiro and the Politics of Distraction I am distressed. 5:55:24 PM    comment [];trackback [];
