Hi I'm Paul Bushmiller I live and work in the State of Maryland. I am currently employed as a library technician at the McKeldin Library at the University of Maryland College Park . I've worked in the Acquisitions department about four years, and for UMCP Libraries for about six years. I am also a returning student trying to finish up the remainder of a Bachelors degree I started many years ago. My Major has been Government and Politics all along. The big issues in Political Science: relation of state authority to the individual, relation of the state to the economic regime - the sources of authority for both remain among my favorite topics. My back ground, before school at Maryland was four years in the US Navy which I joined from Massachusetts where I grew up. My general interests include writing - primarily, but also photography and guitar. In College I was the Music Director, later Program Director of the (volunteer) free-form campus radio station, WMUC FM88, where I dj'd as well.
