Hello, my name is Niyant Ganesh. I am a graduate of the University of Maryland’s Science and Global Change program and currently a student researcher at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry on the pre-dental path, as I aim to become a dentist in the future. Throughout my time at UMD, I have pushed myself academically through rigorous biology coursework, allowing me to build a strong foundation in the field prior to dental school.

Through the Science and Global Change program, I have grown as a student through meaningful interactions with my peers and the environment. The program has also given me the opportunity to contribute to environmental initiatives in the greater DC area, including river cleanups, while developing a deeper understanding of the environmental impacts of healthcare fields such as dentistry.

This page also highlights my current research publications and selected features in academic and institutional magazines resulting from my work at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
