Hello! My name is Melanie and I am currently a freshman studying Mechanical Engineering at UMD. I am a part of the Scholar's Science and Global Change Program as well as Engineers Without Borders, Vietnamese Student Association, and SWE.

As a student, I hope to become more involved in on-campus service projects and hopefully attain leadership positions in the future. Over the next 4 years, I plan on utilizing the resources and opportunities that UMD offers to further my knowledge in different fields of engineering. By doing this, I hope to gain a more versatile education.
