ENG 378: Web Exercise 1.0
- Open an account on the sweb
server.
- Create a simple HTML page called welcome.html with whatever content you like; just
your
name is fine for now, but be sure your page conforms to the correct
HTML
document structure -- that is what you are being graded on. You might
want to use your browser to View
Source
for this page. You'll see the elements of the document structure
rendered in
upper-case.
- Upload your HTML file to the sweb server; be sure to place it in
your "www" directory.
- Email the
URL for your page to Ms. Linda Cantara, mentioning
ENG 378 in the subject line of your message:
cantara@rch.uky.edu
Do not email your URL to me or to the class
list. Also, make sure
you test your URL to confirm that it is correct before mailing to
Ms. Cantara -- she will not fish around for the page if the URL you
send her is flawed.
