Dr. Dellomo's current research is focused on several key areas:
Reactive Sensing: Extensions of Opportunistic Sensing to adapt to changes in the sensing
environment, including the loss of critical sensors applying ideas from the mathematical
theory of frames to sensed data compression.
RF Communications: Development of interference resistant commmunications systems for
heavily congested spectral environments
Spectrum Management: Efficient utilization of spectrum for satellite and terrestrial
communications systems, including accurate estimation of interfering signals
