- Guided Study Sessions (GSS) Program
This program is run by the
Counseling Center
and offers regularly scheduled study sessions for traditionally
difficult courses.
Based on the Supplemental Instruction model (SI),
weekly 50-minute sessions are held using a collaborative learning process.
For our class these sessions are
- Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:00pm - 4:50pm in MTH 0411
- Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:00pm - 5:50pm in MTH 0104
They are run by our GSS Leaders, Uday Warier and Yerui Hu respectively.
They begin the second week of classes and end by November 30.
Attend once or attend every session, the choice is up to you. However,
studies from other courses suggest
that the more you attend,
the higher your final grade will be in the course.
