AMSC 699 Catalog Description
AMSC 699, Applied Mathematics Seminar (1 credit):
(Repeatable if content differs. Formerly MAPL 699.)
Seminar to acquaint students with a variety of applications of
mathematics and to develop skills in presentation techniques.
This Semester
Mathematics of the Atmosphere and Oceans
After a few introductory lectures, each student will present a
one hour lecture on a research paper. There will be no exams.
