My name is Kalinda Stengel and I am a sophomore in the College of Mathematical and Natural Sciences at the University of Maryland. As of now, I am a Microbiology major on the pre-dental track. In the Science and Global Change program I hope to learn more about global warming that is currently going on.
At UMD, I am involved in the Undergraduate Student National Dental Association, College Park Scholars' Student Advisory Board Freshman Representative, Greek Life, PHA, and the Clean Teeth Club. During my four years at UMD, I hope to be well prepared for dental school and become an active community member.
