My name is Josh and I am an Electrical Engineering major with a specialization in Signals and Communications, currently pursuing a Bachelors at the University of Maryland. I am scheduled to graduate in May 2026 and want to pursue graduate education in Communications and Signal Processing Engineering via a master’s degree. Right now I currently work four jobs: A Community Assistant for Centreville Hall, late night desk worker at McKeldin Library, a Research Assistant for Professor Shuvra Bhattacharyya and the DSPCAD Research group (Affiliated with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and the Institute for Advanced Computer Studies) where I am working on a project with machine learning object detection, and I am an Undergraduate Research Assistant for a course in Engineering Digital Logic where I lead discussions, grade, and hold office hours. In my personal life I am a big fan of Star Wars and anything science fiction. I am super passionate about the environment and love going on hikes and seeing nature.
