Study Group for Musics of East Asia (MEA)
This is the first stage of a new site for the MEA. The study group was organized at a conference in Ilan, Taiwan, in 2006, held its first official meeting in 2007 in Shanghai and its second in 2010 in Seoul.
The Study Group is managed by an Executive Board elected by the membership. The Executive Board currently includes:

Our 2012 conference will be held July 31-August 2, 2012, at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Stay tuned for more information about the conference!

Those presenting papers at MEA conferences are required to become members. Non-members are welcome to attend our conferences or to join the MEA listserv. To be added to the listserv, contact MEA Chair and listserv manager J. Lawrence Witzleben.
