Formula Sheets Policy

Limited formula sheets are allowed during tests. The formula sheets must be self-made and can only contain definitions, theorems and formulas.
 
Self-made formula sheet means that it must be handwritten or self-typed with font size not smaller than 12, and no photocopy or snap-shot of any part of any book or any hand-written/internet materials is allowed.
 
No specific examples or H.W./Test problems or any proofs/derivations are allowed on the formula sheets!
 
University of Maryland CODE OF ACADEMIC INTEGRITY states any of the following acts, when committed by a student, shall constitute academic dishonesty:
 
(a) CHEATING: fraud, deceit, or dishonesty in any academic course or exercise in an attempt to gain an unfair advantage and/or intentionally using or attempting to use unauthorized materials, information, or study aids in any academic course or exercise.
 
Students who fail to follow the Formula Sheet Policy are considered violating the University Code of Academic Integrity.
