Limited formula sheets are allowed during tests. The formula sheets must be
self-made and can only contain definitions, theorems and formulas. |

Self-made formula sheet means that it must be handwritten or self-typed with font size not smaller than 12,
and no photocopy or snap-shot of any part of any book or any hand-written/internet materials is
allowed. |

No specific examples or H.W./Test problems or any proofs/derivations are allowed on
the formula sheets! |

University of Maryland CODE OF ACADEMIC INTEGRITY
states any of the following acts, when committed by a student, shall constitute academic
dishonesty: |

(a) CHEATING: fraud, deceit, or dishonesty in any academic course or
exercise in an attempt to gain an unfair advantage and/or intentionally using or attempting to use unauthorized
materials, information, or study aids in any academic course or exercise. |

Students who fail to follow the Formula Sheet Policy are considered
violating the University Code of Academic Integrity. |
