John David Lawrence Harrison was also called "Toby." He was born in 1933. He was the son of Gilbert Metcalfe Harrison and Ivy Mary Old.
He worked at the Harlow Nuclear Research establishment and later for the World Health Organization, advising on nuclear energy. John and Mary lived in West Hagbourne near Didcot, Oxfordshire.
John David Lawrence Harrison died on 22 September 1992. He was buried in Saltburn Cemetery, Saltburn, Yorkshire, England.
