Lad Thomas Krizek was also known as Ladislav Krizek.1 He was born on 25 June 1896 in Vitice, Bohemia.2
Lad Thomas Krizek immigrated in 1912 to the United States.3 He arrived at Ellis Island, New York, New York, on 7 November 1912 together with his sister Tererie, age 26. The ship was S. S. Bremen, sailing from Bremen on 26 October 1912. The ship manifest shows that his sister had previously been in the United States from 1896 to 1912, and that they were going to join their brother Joseph Krizek at 3648 54th Street in Cleveland, Ohio.1
Lad Thomas Krizek fought with the Czechoslovak Legion in France during World War I.4 After the war he was national president of the Czechoslovak Legionnaires Abroad, also known as Czechoslovakian Legionnaires of America.4,5
Lad Thomas Krizek married Elsie E. Schlesinger, daughter of Peter Schlesinger and Bertha ____, about 1926.3
