Jacob De Voe was born on 16 September 1786.1,2 He was the son of Abraham De Voe and Mary Davis.3 Jacob De Voe was baptized on 29 October 1786 at the Old Dutch Church, Sleepy Hollow, Westchester County, New York.2
Jacob De Voe married Maria Pinckney in 1815 at Mount Pleasant, Westchester County, New York.4 The Thos. De Voe genealogy4 states: By his will, he directs his farm to be sold; leaves an income to his wife; "To my half-brother, Abraham," a certain sum of money; and to his three nephews, "sons of my brother John" (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob), other money, to be put at interest and paid to each when of age.
Jacob De Voe died on 13 March 1824 at age 37.4,5,1 He was buried in the Old Dutch Burying Ground, Sleepy Hollow, Westchester County, New York.5,1,6
