Samuel Hannah was baptized on 29 January 1832 at Glasserton, Wigtownshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of William Hannah and Elizabeth Morrison.1 The baptism record states "William Hannah and Elisabeth Morrisson had an illegitimate son baptized_ _ _ _ Samuel". As a second son Samuel was born to William and Elizabeth on 29 June 1833, the presumption is that this first son died young.
