Edmond Farrington of Oney [Olney?], Buckinghamshire, his wife, and four children embarked for New England on 1 April 1635 in the Hopewell of London, England.1,2

In December 1640 he was one of a group of men from Lynn, Massachusetts who settled the town of Southampton on Long Island, New York.3 He returned to Lynn and built a corn mill there in 1655.45,6
