George August Webert was born on 25 August 1819 in Olberode, Hessen-Nassau, Germany.1 He was the son of Johann Michael Webert and Anna Catharina Fröhlich.1

George August Webert married Anna Catharine Goetz, daughter of Johann Adam Goetz and Anna Catherine Battenberg, in 1843.1

George August Webert died on 11 July 1903 in Flushing, Dunn County, Wisconsin, at age 83.1
