Thomas Farrington was born on 29 May 1712 in Flushing, New York.1 He was the son of Matthew Farrington and Hannah Embree.

Thomas Farrington married first ____ Norris.2,3 Thomas Farrington emigrated about 1750 from Flushing, New York, to Eastchester, Westchester County, New York, and purchased land in the Long Reach district.2

Thomas Farrington married second Margaret Marston, daughter of Cornelius Marston.3,2

Thomas Farrington left a will on 15 April 1782 at Eastchester, Westchester County, New York, that mentioned his wife Margaret; sons George, Jonas, Robert, and Thomas; daughters Hannah, Napsee, and Sarah; grandson Abner, son of Robert; grandson James, son of Benjamin; and grandsons Joseph and Moses, sons of Thomas.3

Thomas Farrington died about 1793.2 He was buried in Eastchester, Westchester County, New York, at the junction of a lane called Farrington's Lane, running through his farm with the White Plains Road.2
