David Harriot was born between 1661 and 1669 in Scotland.1
David Harriot immigrated in 1685 to New Jersey on the Henry and Francis, apparently as one of a group of stubborn Scottish religious dissenters (Presbyterians) who were ordered to be deported.1
David Harriot married Hellen Campbell, daughter of David Campbell.
David and Hellen inherited a house in Perth Amboy, New Jersey from Hellen's father.1 David also owned a farm in Woodbridge, New Jersey.1 He was a bondsman and freeholder.1
David Harriot died in 1725/26.1
