Nathan Dwelley was born on 19 February 1797 in Pembroke, Massachusetts.1,2 He was the son of Nathan Dwelley and Elizabeth Bonney.1,3

Nathan Dwelley married Huldah B. Eells on 5 December 1822.1

Nathan Dwelley was for a time Captain of the Hanover Rifle Company.4

Nathan Dwelley and Huldah B. Eells lived in 1853 at the Four Corners, Hanover, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, in the house that earlier belonged to Huldah's grandfather, Captain Robert L. Eells.5

Alonzo Josselyn wrote in his copy of Barry's history of Hanover, next to Nathan Dwelley's name: My Uncle [Uncles?], and thought a great deal of me (they were actually first cousins.)6
