COLUMBIA'S NEW BUILDINGS.

Work on University Hall and Teachers' College Dormitory---Intentions of the Donor of Students' Hall.

Columbia University is making rapid strides toward securing a number of additions to her already extensive quarters on Morningside Heights. Work has been going on for some time on the new dormitory for the women of Teachers' College, between One Hundred and Twentieth and One Hundred and Twenty-first Streets, on Amsterdam Avenue. The new home of Horace Mann School, on Broadway, between the same streets as the dormitory, has been completed externally, but the interior fittings will not be terminated for some time. . . .

The architect of Horace Mann School, Edgar A. Josselyn, has designed a handsome builiding whose interior arrangements and appointments are believed to constitute a type of model school. . . .
