Farewell
When you read this I will have gone to the "Great Beyond," but I want to leave my sincere thanks to all my many friends here in this lovely town.
My husband, baby daughter Phylis, and I came to Ridgefield in the spring of 1917, and our Jean joined us in 1930, and the town took us to their hearts.
After I was left alone, you have all been so good, my church, the town and other organizations, to say nothing of my friends, old ones and new ones.
So I say to you, do not grieve for me, but just remember the good times and accept my thanks to you all. May God bless you.
