Dear Pat and Howard,

We have a bit of news we know you will want to hear about. We have bought a differnt [sic] unit here in the village and will move as soon as we can sell this one. Whie the decision was made within a short time we have had a growing dissatisfaction with the type of house we bought. We have found we just don't have much privacy here. If we open the kitchen window our next door neighbors can hear everything we are saying. Maybe this wouldn't be too bad if they weren't the nosey, gossipy kind. But their chief interest in life seems to be gathering tid-bits about their neighbors and passing them along to others -- often in slightly distorted form. . . .

We really like it here in the village and have made some good friends. We are much more experienced now in what we want and have picked what we think is a really good place. . . .
