The last will and testament of Catherine Mitchell or Robertson. Granted at Perth October 6th 1859.
It is my wish and desire that of my means and effects as they shall be ascertained after my decease, after paying my funeral expenses and lawful debts, that one hundred pounds sterling shall be paid to my daughter Sophia not later than six months after my death, or if not then paid, that interest of 5 percent shall be allowed her until paid; and that the remainder of my means as soon as is realized shall be divided among my daughters Jane or Mrs. R. Troup, Isabel or Mrs. J. Robertson, Catherine and Elizabeth, and that in dividing the above remainder of my means to the aforesaid four daughters no account shall be taken of any advances or sums of money which may have been made by me to any of my aforesaid daughters, but that after paying Sophia her one hundred pounds, the remainder of my means shall be divided in equal portions as above to my other four daughters.
And I further desire that Mr. Chas. Playfair at Banchory and Mr. James Anderson of Berryhillock shall act as my trustees and see that the above testament be carried out and thus oblige me and my family to which they have been old and kind friends.

The above was taken down from the lips of the above Catherine Robertson on this second day of August 1858 at Lochside, being read over twice to the said Mrs. Robertson in our hearing and presence.
