Dear Howard, I have no objection whatsoever to you adding any information to your Family History data base. I have had several e-mails from Margaret and I told her that when I looked at the marriage ref for Ann Weighill(ell) to Isaac Simpson, it states there that she was Ann Weighells. Margaret has also looked on another site and found the same information. John (my husband) looked at all the census for Ann’s parents, William and Mary, and all apart from one I think give the name as Weighell.

The information on the children of Jane Troup and Ernest Wren came from a Stephen Bell. Eva Mary Wren b 1899 married John Henry Bell and they had a son called John who in turn married and had a son called Stephen. The information on the Wren side of the family came from him.

Charlotte Troup b1895 – White Hurworth, Wingate – d 1958 Beacontree Heath, Essex
Eva Mary Wren b1899 - Hartlepool
Agnes Jane Wren b1901 - Hartlepool - d 1901
William Wren b1902 – Hartlepool – d 1974 – ran dance classes in Everett St. Hall, Hartlepool
David Thomas Wren b1905 – Hartlepool – d 1986 Hartlepool – occupation driver
Albert Edward Wren b1907 – Hartlepool – d1980 married Jane Ann Laws b 1915 – Hartlepool - d1977
Hilda May Wren b1910 – Hartlepool – d1995 – married Ronald Terry b1913 – Hartlepool
Harry Wren b1911 – Hartlepool – d1911 – died at birth
Nellie Wren b1912 – Hartlepool – d1977
Lilian Wren b 1915 – Hartlepool – d1999
Clara Wren b1918 – Hartlepool – d1918 died at birth
Elsie Wren b1922 – Hartlepool –d1922 died at birth

I have also enclosed the baptism information of Isabella Troup and Charles William Troup, children of Arthur Alexander and Isabella Wilkinson. These were sent to me by a lady called Susan Troup whose family come from Sunderland and before that Aberdeen, Scotland. I think she is trying to tie in her Troups with our ones and feels that they must be related somewhere but has not yet found the link.

Best Wishes

Sue
