Notes made by Frederick Maurice DeVoe from Albert DeVoe's bible.
(Note by H. J. D.: Fred DeVoe was a glassblower who at one time traveled with carnivals and the like; he was in San Francisco at the time of the 1906 earthquake. He also worked as a glassblower in Thomas Edison's laboratory. He never married. I visited his home in Buena Park, Cal. (8331 4th St.) in November 1960 where he still made glass sailing ships and perfume bottles for sale at Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm, and nebulizers for a medicine company. I made the following copy of Fred's notes at that time.)
