PODs: Working Groups of NNFR

PODs are the basic permanent working groups of the Network established to address the needs of children, youth, and families. NNFR consists of 6 PODs:

The Evaluation POD

provides leadership for evaluating the effectiveness of the Family Resiliency Network in assessing research-based information and resources.

The Training and Technical Assistance POD

provides staff development, training and consultation for the Network. Communications will connect the users, partners, and public with information and educational resources.

The Research POD

focuses on past and current research projects which have been and are being conducted on family resiliency
provides leadership for disseminating and conducting applied research.

The Program and Curriculum Development POD

develops criteria and standards to assure practices, programs, and curricula are reviewed and entered into the Network.

The Public Issues/Policy POD

provides leadership for visionary policies and conducting environmental scanning.

The Marketing/Resource POD

informs others about the network and explains the network functions
creates lists of participants and develops resources to sustain, enhance, and expand the Network.
