This is a brief description of my Internship at NIH this summer (2022).
This summer, I was fortunate enough to be able to intern at the National Institutes of Health. I worked under the National institute
of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB). The team I worked with was the Instrumentation Development in Engineering Applications
Solutions (IDEAS) section. Our role was to develop Electrical and Computer Engineering based solutions that were first in design, for
implementation in biomedical research. Because we were on campus and had large suite of design and prototyping tools, we were called into
most situations where a unique tool was required.
Some of the projects I worked on, included developing a Freezer temperature Monitoring system based around a Raspbery Pi, as well as designing
a LAVA board which utilizes light to test protein reactivity.
