Roles: Game and Level Designer
A high-speed, movement shooter developed by a team of three during a dedicated game jam. This single-level space adventure challenges players to get to the end speedily using a jetpack, with the ultimate goal of reaching a towering summit. I crafted the initial expansive leap to introduce players to the jetpack mechanics. The game offers dual paths to add flexibility in the beginning I narrow the paths as well as add distinct upper and lower routes to reward skill differentiaiton. My work also included the aesthetic aspects, such as background objects, and materials. My two other members handling the programming and modeling to create an atmospheric space platforming experience.
This was my Collaborative project outside of working with friends, It was interesting and a case study for me on getting buy in, people having interest that don't quite align, among other things. Despite it all I'm proud of the layout I created but I find it mostly on a case study, on that I want to be truly invested in the end product. As opposed to just doing my part. After, I had been somewhat burned in the other direction
