Hi, I'm Daniel, a Public Health Science major at the University of Maryland on the pre-nursing track. I have always been drawn to the intersection of science, healthcare, and human well-being. My long-term career goal is to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), a role that combines technical expertise, precision, and compassion in patient care. Anesthesia fascinates me because it requires both skill and deep responsibility to ensure patient safety.

My UMD experience so far has been exciting, and I am looking forward to building a strong foundation in health sciences while also connecting with the SGC community. I plan to gain hands-on clinical experience, explore public health research, and prepare myself for the rigorous path toward advanced nursing practice.

Outside of academics, I have a variety of hobbies and interests that keep me motivated and balanced:

In the future, I want to use my education and career to help improve healthcare access, promote preventative care, and ensure patients feel seen and supported. Through Scholars and UMD, I hope to grow both academically and personally, while contributing to the campus community.
