Dear Maureen,

As a member of the SEIL Lab manager search committee, and Associate
Director of the SEIL lab, I interviewed Trevor Vaughan for the lab
manager position.

In my opinion, Trevor has outstanding technical credentials that
easily meet the equivalent of the minimum of three years of 
programming and software development. His credentials stem from
a combination of education and work experience (including
programming and software development) in ECE for the past four years.
From Trevor's resume one may not be able to assess the extent of 
his experience. However, it is evident from the interview that
programming and software development have been an integral part
of all his work contributions to ECE.
