On Wednesday, Greg Walsh will cover requirements for the Java Project.
The Java Project will count for at least 20% of the grade,

and cover material from Chapters 3 through 9 of Austin/Chancogne.

Java code that you can adapt for your project.
With this in mind, I have started to compile a list of
Java books with source code
that can be downloaded over the web.

On Wednesday, Dr. Walsh described the progress for
designing and implementing a GUI. If you would like
to see some examples of various layout managers in
action, take a look at
Chapter 6 of the Java Examples book.
Week 14 : May 3 and 5, 1999
Week 15 : May 10 and 12, 1999
Final Exam : May 17, 8.00 am - 10.00am, Rm 2107.
The exam will cover C and Java and will be semi-open book.
Semi-open book means that you may bring Austin and Chancogne
to the exam, but not your class notes nor any other textbook.
