Homework Assignment 1

Due : 9.30 am, February 10, 2000.

Problems from Chapters 3 and 4 of Austin and Chancogne.

• Solve problem 3.3 in Austin/Chancogne.

• Solve problem 3.5 in Austin/Chancogne.

• Solve problem 4.6 in Austin/Chancogne. Note. There is a small typo on page 96 of the book. The line:

      printf( ...... MAX_INT);
  

  should read

      printf( ...... INT_MAX);
  

  as shown on page 92. Sorry about that.

For each program, hand in a copy of the program source code, and samples of the program input and output.
