In this 1944 movie, comedians Ole Olsen and Chic Johnson run a zany
Manhattan nightclub which is next door to a spooky old town house. When
the house's new tenants' sleep is disturbed by mysterious noises and
cryptic messages written on the wall, they run next door for help. Olsen
and Johnson learn that the house is haunted by the capricious ghost of a
Gay 90s playboy. Figuring that the ghost, a classical music lover, will be
driven out by a good dose of "swing" music, Olsen and Johnson and their
nightclub troupe stage a lively jitterbug number. The strategy works, but
the strange noises persist...
