Este animal se puede encontrar en Chiloé, ciudad que está en el sur de Chile, y recientemente también se le ha encontrado al norte de este lugar, en la ciudad de Osorno y sus alrededores.
También abundan estos animales en la zona del río Baker y por los flancos de río Cochrane.
Su cola es larga y peluda. Todo su cuerpo está cubierto de abundante pelo largo. Es un mamífero de piernas cortas.
This animal lives in Chiloé, a southern city in Chile, but recently it has also been found in the northern part of this place, in the city of Osorno and its surroundings.
You can also find lots of these foxes in the Baker river zone and on the sides of the Cochrane river.
It´s got a long and hairy tail. It´s whole body is covered with abundant and long hair. It´s a short legged mammal.
