Commemorative Stamps for the Bill Of Rights
The First Ten Amendments to the
Constitution of the United States
Mrs. O'Haver's Fifth Grade, Spring of 1996
Introduction
Students designed and made commemorative stamps to celebrate one of the first ten
amendments to the Constitution of the United States. These first ten amendments are
known as the Bill of Rights. This project is a demonstration of their developing
understanding of the Bill of Rights. The project was an attempt to develop an awareness
of their rights and responsibilities not only in connection with the Bill of Rights
but the rights and responsibilities in their school and community.
