Where Bats Live

Bats live in many different places. Most microbats, which are insect-eating bats, use rock crevices for shelter. Many bat species use hollow trees as their home. Most tropical bats live in foliage. Some bats are known to cut leaves and shape them into tents. All bats on all continents live in the attics of most buildings. Bats live in dark places like caves, holes or crevices, and rooftops. They live in roofing felt and behind boarding. Texas has thirty-two different bat species. Eight different types of bats live in Maine. Arizona has twenty-eight different bats, and there are ten different types of bats in Michigan. In conclusion, bats live in different places.
