Membership

Membership into the American Red Cross Club is open to the public, as per the Red Cross' mission we are a non-profit organization and will not actively seek dues from its membership.

If an when the time arises that membership dues are needed to sustain the organization's operations you will be notified by e-mail, however we do not foresee this happening.

All members must complete a Volunteer Application and Code of Conduct certification when volunteering or offering help at our club sponsored events.

In addition attendance of at least 75% of all meetings during a given semester is required of its members, extenuating circumstances may be granted if we are notified by e-mail.

Active participation in all activities sponsored by the American Red Cross Club at the University of Maryland College Park is a must unless the activity interferes with either scholastic or financial constraints.

The American Red Cross Club at the University of Maryland College Park openly admits students to its membership and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, personal appearance, age, national origin, political affiliation, physical or mental disability, or on the basis of rights secured by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.
