Biography
I received my B.Tech in Electronics and Communication from The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Guwahati) in 1999, and joined Hughes Software Systems, Gurgaon, India (now Aricent) as a Software Engineer after graduating. I was there until Feb 2001 after which I joined Cybernetics Infotech, Rockville, MD as a Research and Development Engineer. I joined University of Maryland, College Park in August of 2001 and was there until January 2007, first as an MS student and later as a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Carol Y. Espy-Wilson. Currently I am working as a Senior Research Engineer at Think A Move, in Beachwood, OH. My research interests include Speech Recognition, Pattern Recognition, Spoken Language Processing, and Digital Signal Processing.
